Dialogue, the name of the Imi Knoebel exposition suggests the interaction between the artworks one another, but also the interaction between the works and the visitor. The aim for the exhibition room was to emphasise the role of image, space and interaction. Imi Knoebel's oeuvre has so wide-ranging aspects. There is opted to exhibit a melange of different works of the minimalist artist. This results in interconnection, superimpositions, reinterpreting and transferring to other contexts.
